Microsoft Magical Mystery Tour PART 9–Making connections

This series of posts is all about my magical, mystery tour of Microsoft Headquaters in Redmond, Washington state, USA. You can follow the feed of what happens over the next week by using the official #msftpil or the unofficial #chickengates.

I have been extremely fortunate to be selected to attend Microsoft’s Partners in Learning Institute where 50 top educators from all over the world will attend a weeks training with Microsoft and have the opportunity to share good practice and develop future collaborative projects.

I am sat here in our sessions at #msftpil on day two with still more time to collaborate and connect with the other 50 teachers from 31 different countries and I am sat reflecting after this mornings session feeling quite emotional. I feel so privileged to have this opportunity and feel incredibly lucky to be here making these connections, I then must share this and enable other teachers to access these types of experiences for themselves as they really are amazing.

It is funny that it really is a small world, today we realised that one of I have already worked with one of the teachers Jose in Vienna a couple of years ago – we talked about a video we both created with a group of European teachers, it was funny to remember the fun we had creating it. You can see it here on youtube it is really bizarre especially me singing on songsmith at the end!

Wonder Horse!
