Microsoft Magical Mystery Tour PART 3–Global Teachers

This series of posts is all about my magical, mystery tour of Microsoft Headquaters in Redmond, Washington state, USA. You can follow the feed of what happens over the next week by using the official #msftpil or the unofficial #chickengates.

I have been extremely fortunate to be selected to attend Microsoft’s Partners in Learning Institute where 50 top educators from all over the world will attend a weeks training with Microsoft and have the opportunity to share good practice and develop future collaborative projects.

This third post is an idea I had a couple of weeks ago where we could visually collate all the information about the 50 different teachers from all over the world attending institute using the website about.me and bing maps.

You can sign up to about me (it is free), it basically collates all your contact details and says a little about you. Here is the one I created it only took me 5 minutes: http://about.me/chickensaltash

Once the teachers created their about me, they posted the link on our community and then we created the links on a Bing map. We are still adding details but it is a great way to visually connect and collaborate in the future.

Here is the list so far: http://binged.it/mVOYKh
