Thank goodness it’s Friday, to help brighten up your day and to help you with your planning at weekends, I will be posting a weekly web based idea that will take just 1 minute of your time to read about. If you like what you read then why not try it out in your lessons the following week.
Class Dojo – http://www.classdojo.com/
Special thanks to Robert Green who recommended this site. This is what Robert says about it:
“ It’s a little website, which has now become one of my favourites and is already getting a great reception from my students. What I particularly love is that it records your marks/awards right throughout the year AND all of your data can be printed out – very handy for Parents’ evenings!”
In the famous words of Gary Barlow ‘it only takes a minute…’
Happy Dojoing all over half term!
Thanks for posting about this, Dan.
I had a look at it today and, after watching the video/tour, I decided to sign up. I’ll be trying it with one or two of my classes when we get back to school next week.
I work in a special school with 11-16 year olds and I can think of a couple of groups who would be motivated by the positive feedback.
I particularly like the way you can customise what type of points are available for a class.
Best wishes
Paul
Thank you for the comment Paul, sorry I have taken so long to reply but it has been manic. How is it going now with it?
