Do you get your students to play Angry birds?

During my time at #msftpil in Seattle I had a very bizarre conversation with an Australian teacher called Kylie, yes I know a great Australian name. Kylie is a Microsoft Innovative Award winning teacher, who works at Carey Baptist Grammar school in Melbourne. She does some fantastic and amazing work with her students and won an award last year for her work on OneNote – you can read more about her project here and watch the video on here blog: http://www.kylietaig.com/microsoft-innovative-teacher.html It is definitely worth following Kylie on twitter @Ky_maree and subscribing to her blog.

She had a bizarre dream she told me one night about her students playing a real game of life size angry birds on the school oval (Haven’t got a clue what an oval is…) guess that is the problem with the language barrier – for example one day the Australians shocked me by saying one day ‘I see you are wearing your thongs’ it is ok they were just talking about my flip flops.

So Kylie and for those who haven’t seen it although 7 million people have – here is the full life size Angry Birds – it is so cool wish I could have a go!

So cool!
