It was great news for our teachers and the students who use Facebook this week to hear that Facebook and Skype have now teamed up to bring us a live video chat app within Facebook.
It is really exciting news, we have been using Facebook to connect the learning within lessons and home for a couple of years now, more recently with the development of the livestream app some of our teachers have been live streaming their revision lessons while the students have been on study leaving as part of the Facebook pages, this has been really exciting and proving really useful to the students.
This new addition with Skype has really great potential to impact on the learning in the school and we are really excited about it.

What do you think about this?
Sounds great. Do you have any safeguarding policy for using facebook? Or reporting underage accounts on facebook? AUPs? Guidance for teachers? Child protection etc.
