Do you have any students between the ages of 9-17 years of age who are using new technologies in innovative ways?

We want to hear from you – we are looking for small teams of students to take part in the Student Voice Technology Showcase – a FREE day event at the University of Plymouth as part of Day 1 of the worldwide Plymouth e-learning conference.

The overall best student presentation will receive a prize.

  • Vision Immersion Cinema demonstrations
  • Robotics show
  • E-safety in school workshop
  • Gadgets and gizmos for education
  • Creating blogs and websites for education

    Your conference sounds like a wonderful Event! I teach 8th graders, and have a word press blog where they comment, share their voices, and thread, on a variety of topics.
    They are engaged learners, who see the befits of sharing their thinking outside the classroom walls.
    I would love thei blog to be shared at your event. However, we are in the USA. Question- are you interested in sharing their work on the on line blog at the day, despite the distance constraint.

  2. This is such a cool idea! I think children are so surrounded by new technology that they will definitely find new innovations on their own. This competition is a brilliant idea. I will try to convince my students to join.
