Reading other teachers blogs is great CPD!

First of all I really must state that this is not a top ten list of blogs, although all the people mentioned are fantastic and do write great blogs, I know there are many others who do and who I regularly read myself and comment on, but this list was put together for teachers who don’t know where to start, I wanted to give them a mix of international, primary, secondary and higher education so here they all are. I have been asked recently by lots of teachers to put out a list like this.

Teachers are always looking out for new ideas to try in the classroom, but where do you get yours from? If you read many of the blogs that are written by teachers out there on the internet then you probably get lots of ideas from them, if you don’t then you are missing a trick. You can subscribe to these blogs and when a new post is written you will then be automatically notified, if you pick blogs where teachers have similar interests or teach your subject that often helps although you can get lots of good ideas from international teachers and also from primary teachers. To help you get started I have picked the following blogs for you to have a look at:

Teachers Blog – Ideas for resources for teaching & learning from Microsoft: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/teachers Stuart Ball and others produce this regular blog post with sharing lots of resources for you to use in the classroom.
