The story behind Homeworky

Created by teachers for teachers

Created by students for students

Created by a school for schools

We were looking to reduce our overall costs as a school and, whilst shopping around, all we could find were homework solutions that could do 25 different things when all we wanted was just a few things such as set homework!

The evolution of Homeworky

As a school we have been using it across the whole school for 1200 secondary aged students from September 2015. The beauty of developing this in house is that it can be continuously improved. To this date we have made 183 updates from suggestions from our students and parents. We have another school that has successfully integrated it over the last year too.

The good news is that I am delighted to announce that we are now making this available to schools to purchase for an extremely small admin fee. If you are interested in finding out more then hit the purchase button on the home page. Or if you would simply like to trial this as a single teacher for your class then contact us for a free trial.

To have a quick look at how it works you can view these video tutorials available on Youtube:

Other additional features:

If you use Google Classroom then you can share homework set with one click to your Google Classroom

Leadership and Management

There is a dashboard to enable middle and senior leaders to monitor the homework being set.

Android and Apple Apps are available for your mobile device

If you are visiting BETT then keep an eye out for Ben Forte @ben40forte and some of our students who will be showcasing Homeworky.

In future posts we will talk about the improvement and impact Homeworky is having on homework at the school.
