Thank goodness it’s Friday, to help brighten up your day and to help you with your planning at weekends, I will be posting a weekly web based idea that will take just 1 minute of your time to read about. If you like what you read then why not try it out in your lessons the following week. Ahhh 4 weeks in and I have slightly changed things for this week, as this week I have two tools because they may be slightly biased for certain subjects.
Number 1 – Drawastickman – http://www.drawastickman.com/
Special thanks to Paul Horrell for recommending this site as a fun starter or reward activity – think you should just try it yourself even if you don’t use it with the kids, will make you laugh and very easy to use!
Number 2 – Universcale – http://tiny.cc/cnns3
This is basically a free website which Compare the physical differences in size of the things around us. Simply move the slider to go on a fascinating journey from the smallest things (atoms) to the largest (planets, galaxies). Just have a go it is really awesome J
In the famous words of Gary Barlow ‘it only takes a minute…’
Happy stickmanning & universcaling!
