After reflecting on one of the presentations I gave last night at the South West conference Engage and inspire with new technologies in association with the Specialist Schools and Academies Trust at Saltash.net.
One person asked me to give me ten good reasons why she should allow her students to use mobile phones and facebook. I gave her seven of these from what our students have said:

“Accessible in school, at home, anytime & anywhere”
“They can be used in any subject”
“Help connect school to home – our parents and teachers can talk”
