Student Voice at #PELC11

There is a fantastic event planned for Wednesday on the 1st day of the Plymouth E-Learning Conference #PELC11 at the University of Plymouth. There is literally an all star line up of amazing young people from the age of 9 right through to 18 years of age talking how they use new technologies to enhance their learning. This will be a really powerful session.

The schools taking part and some details about their presentation are:

Saltash.net Community School – is a comprehensive secondary school in Cornwall talking about an Xbox transition project.

Heathfield Primary School – a primary school in Bolton talking about the Pandora Writing Blog Project – Talking about the students using technology such as Voicethread, Coveritlive, PrimaryPad, Audioboo, YouTube and Smart Notebook to get kids to blog.

St James School – is an 11-16 comprehensive in Exeter talking about Social Networking – How using Elgg enhances the learning at St James school.

Broadclyst Community Primary School – is a primary school located near Exeter. They will be talking about Broadclyst Television – the schools very own tv channel!

Lampton School – is a comprehensive secondary school, located in Hounslow, Middlesex, England.

Devonport High School for Boys – is an 11-18 secondary grammar school located in Plymouth.
