Happy Birthday to Why did the Chickenman cross the road?

Wow where did the last year go? It is official, you heard it first and any other clichés you want to throw into this. My blog is one year old and I can’t believe that firstly that I am still writing it and secondly that some people read it. In fact over the last year 10,000 people have read it which I am really proud of. My blog posts have definitely improved in my opinion as time has gone on and I definitely think my posts help me reflect on my own practice so it actually has been good for me, I think I have certainly become a more effective teacher because of it. Over the next few weeks I intend to look at some of the important posts over the last year this is because the readership of my blog has changed and some people may have not seen some of the earlier posts. Also it is good to look back and revisit some of the ideas and suggestions as it may fire the synapses and generate ideas for your classroom.

This first post was my first ever blog post – it is all about me ha ha! Well actually it sets the context for where I am coming from, some of my new followers to this blog won’t know this and so it may be quite interesting for them to read it. As you can see there are some serious floors with this first post, one being it is far too long. What do you think? http://bit.ly/541k0

  1. Dan, I remember the day you hatched. A little ball of fluffy yellow. Who would have know it then, that you would fly the coup, and your clucking and crowing would be heard far and wide..

Well done and Happy Birthday 🙂
